Rockingham Mahindra are to announce its new partnership with the Kwinana Industries Council (KIC) in support of the KIC iProjects Educational Development Program.
This collaboration is set to provide invaluable opportunities to students in Rockingham and Kwinana, offering a unique chance to explore diverse career pathways within the Kwinana Industrial Area, with local businesses.
Jack Bennett, Sales Manager at Rockingham Mahindra, said “Rockingham Mahindra are proud to invest in our local community by supporting the KIC iProjects Educational Development Program. Students are exposed to a variety of career possibilities they may not have previously considered. As a local business, it is important to invest in our community's future and contribute to the development of our local talent. You never know we may have a future motor vehicle technician or designer in the mix”.
KIC iProjects Educational Development Program aims to bridge the gap between education and industry by providing students with immersive experiences and insights into various career options available in the region’s thriving industrial sector. Through organized industry visits and hands-on learning opportunities, the program seeks to inspire and guide the next generation of professionals.
The collaboration between Rockingham Mahindra and the Kwinana Industries Council underscores the importance of local businesses actively participating in educational initiatives that benefit the community. By fostering a strong connection between students and industry leaders, the program aims to equip young individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in their future careers.
The Chief Executive of the Kwinana Industries Council, David Harrison, has welcomed the partnership with Rockingham Mahindra saying it is an investment in the future of local industry and young people across our communities.
“It is a partnership centred on creating opportunities, optimism and confidence for students across the Rockingham, Kwinana and Cockburn region.
